Russian new armored personnel carrier (Bumerang) Specifications
Voyenno-Promyshlennaya Kompaniya, the organization making the Bumerang, claims it "will be in no way like any of the cutting edge APCs." Numerous insights about its outline have not been discharged, but rather it is realized that the vehicle will be land and/or water capable and have the capacity to arrange and conquer water snags utilizing two water jets. In a flight with the past BTR arrangement of vehicles, the motor will be situated in the front rather than the back. Motor area was a huge disadvantage of BTR vehicles, where fighters needed to leave the vehicles through cramped side entryways. The Bumerang has back entryways and rooftop hatches for troop section and exit. It will probably have a group of three comprising of the driver, heavy weapons specialist, and officer and hold seven troops. Security will originate from clay defensive layer and innovations to anticipate shell fragments. Like BTRs, the Bumerang will be a 8×8 wheeled vehicle, and will be furnished with a 500 hp turbocharged diesel motor. A few parts and subsystems will be tradable between the Bumerang APC and Kurganets-25 IFV, and both vehicles will be fueled by the same engine. There are two variants of the Bumerang 8×8 vehicle: the K-16 defensively covered work force bearer (APC), delicately furnished with a 12.7 mm automatic weapon in a little remote turret; and the K-17 infantry battling vehicle (IFV), intensely outfitted with the Bumerang-BM RWS with a 30 mm gun and Kornet-EM against tank rockets.
